The Entourage Effect Amplifies Your CBD Oil's Performance

“The entourage effect" is the phrase used to describe the interaction between multiple cannabinoids and terpenoids in cannabis, or your CBD oil and other CBD products. Although research is ongoing regarding the extent of how these different minor cannabinoids and terpenes are amplifying the health benefits of your CBD products, there is substantial evidence that the entourage effect makes taking CBD together with certain terpenes and minor cannabinoids is more effective than using just CBD alone.

CBD Isolate vs. Full-Spectrum

While CBD alone, as an isolate, has the potential to offer great health benefits, a full-spectrum product allows your body to reach a deeper range of value by activating this entourage effect. Because of a synergistic bond between our endocannabinoid system (ECS) and all the compounds found in the cannabis (specifically - hemp) plant. Researchers are still working to exactly map out the mechanism occurring in the body.  What they have found is that minor phytochemicals such as exogenous cannabinoids and terpenes increase the activity of the naturally occurring endocannabinoids, anandamide (a fatty acid neurotransmitter), and 2AG (2-Arachidonoylglycerol), which is a specific endocannabinoid. This explains why CBD and THC only work at their highest level of performance when they run with a team. Furthermore, the ECS can only perform at its highest peak performance when it’s confronted with the entourage effect.
